From lab benches to meeting rooms, my scientific career has evolved from a junior scientist to a seasoned and experienced group lead within the pharmaceutical industry. Throughout this journey, I have leveraged my planning and organisation skills for the effective management of both internal and client-driven projects, either technical in nature or as part of a large-scale building refurbishment into laboratory space, and have concurrently gained a certification in Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner project management.
I have overseen numerous projects, involving stakeholders communication, work execution management, report and slide deck preparation, adherence to timelines, scope and budget, and crucially the navigation of complex inter-departmental relationships - all tasks at which I excel and find both enjoyable and rewarding.
Alongside my professional duties, I have developed a strong interest and skill in the planning and execution of scientific and social events, such as work retreats or charity fundraiser events. I have led the organization of department-wide off-site events, encompassing both scientific and social agendas, and have also been a pivotal member of a charity team that raised thousands of pounds through various fundraising activities.
